I agree with the first review

Yes, great for dark circles but at $71, it's not useful for much else. I tried to use in on my eye lids, but the lotion got in eyes and made my vision blury for a time. It can sting your eyes too which is why I guess they say only to use it under the eye.

Love it, to a point

This is great for dark circles, but isn't really for anything but UNDER the eyes. I get darkness on my lids, too, so I'm not quite sure why this isn't appropriate for them. But as for circles, I'm happy.
