This thing actually works, much to my surprise. I already knew I was a good candidate for laser hair removal, as I'd had a small area previously treated (not sure it's a good idea to try this if you DON'T already know whether you are a good candidate). Anyway, now I wanted pretty much my whole body treated and the cost was just prohibitive so I thought I would give this a try - and I'm REALLY glad I did. While it isn't comfortable in every area, my experience is that it doesn't hurt any worse than professional treatment. My only caution is that you really should follow the instructions - I forgot about the sun exposure part and did end up with some minor but still increased sunburning on my forearms.
